Take Bridget Jones and carry it in Egypt: here's Bride, a thirty-year hunt for her husband in the tradition of his country, the candidate visits to home or even a suitor that will work. And the word spinster hovers like a curse on his house. Along with her, between glasses of sweet tea and tough (to test the teeth of the potential future husband) Bride parade a sampling of assorted Arab males: peasants dressed in technicolor, football maniacs, liars (and even bigamy), police officers, megalomaniac enriched.
